HIIT style training targets your cardiovascular health by subjecting the body to periods of high-intensity anaerobic exercise, followed up by shorter, low-intensity recovery periods, after which the process repeats. These periods of high-intensity and recovery are the “intervals” in High-Intensity Interval Training. This approach to fitness improves your overall endurance, and will condition your muscles and improve the rate at which your body metabolizes glucose. This method is also incredibly time-effective, allowing you to experience a full, satisfying, and effective workout in just 45 minutes.
